dc.description.abstractThis article illustrates how the corona pandemic affected the residents' quality of life in a nursing home setting. Neither the politicians nor the health care staff had experiences with pandemics. News from China suggested that older people were in the risk group, the elderly had to be isolated. Strict rules reduced human touch and contact. This article illustrates the balance between human touch and infection prevention measures.en_US
