Transhumanism, Truth and Equality: Does the Transhumanist Vision Make Sense?

Abstract

Transhumanism maintains that technology will allow humans to develop beyond all known limits. This essay maintains that this entails both an epistemology and an anthropology that are inherently inconsistent. As an allegedly experience based ideology employing oncepts traditionally reserved for the divine and the metaphysical, transhumanism therefore does not make sense.
