More than 70% of youths are confirmed in Church of Norway but only about 10% of them remain in organised Christian youth work after confirmation. This article investigates what 15–18 years old young people think about reaching those who do not belong to a Christian fellowship. Contrary to what I expected, it is very important for my informants to include others, and they reveal that their leaders have modelled this desire to reach out. A modelling of Christian life is considered important and communities with quality activities and an attractive fellowship, where the preaching is related to the youth’s needs, may be able to reach out. On the basis of the data, the author calls for more attention to the youth context and to move out of the church building in order to reach the youths who never will show up there.en
